Welcome to my world of cult movies - some of my favourite cinematic oddities ever to reach the public. The Rocky Horror Picture Show - Based on an early 1970 piece of Brit-rock theatre (and written by a hippy from New Zealand), The Rocky Horror Picture Show has become one of the best known cult flicks ever. Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte - Bette Davis is terrorized by evil Olivia De Havilland in a prime slice of Grand Guignol. Head Sixties teenybob group commit the finest career suicide imaginable - imagine a group from The X-Factor doing this a couple of years into their career... Beyond the Valley of the Dolls - Los Angles in 1970 was clearly a very dramatic place. |
